Birth and Marriage Certificates

Apostille Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates in Mexico for use in the United States and abroad

Apostille Mexican Birth death marriage certificates

We obtain and authenticate Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates issued in all States of Mexico when required for presentation to authorities abroad, including certificates issued in Mexico State, Mexico City, Quintana Roo (Cancun) and Guerrero (Acapulco).

Birth, marriage and death certificates issued in Mexico can be certified with a Hague Convention Apostille stamp from the Government of the State where the birth, death or marriage was issued.

Apostille processing times vary depending on the State, but in general Mexican Apostilles for civil status certificates take 1 - 5 working days

Authorities of countries that have signed the Apostille Convention will recongnize Apostilles issued by Mexican State Governments directly as confirmation of authenticity. Otherwise, following certification by the State Government, the certificate must be attested by the destination country's embassy or consulate in Mexico.

Certified translations of Mexican death, marriage and birth certificates

When presenting Mexican marriage, death and birth certificates and other vital records in countries which do not have Spanish as an official language, then a certified translation may be required. The certified translation must meet the requirements of the destination country, so that a translation done locally in Mexico may not be valid without additional legalization.
